What does a Federal Appeal look like?

The government appeals from a judgment of the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut (Burns, J.) granting defendant Edmund Autuori's motion for judgment of acquittal, pursuant to Fed. R. Crim. P. 29(c), and granting conditionally his motion for a new trial, pursuant to Fed. R. Crim. P. 29(d), on sixteen counts charging mail and wire fraud in violation of 18 U.S.C. ยงยง 1341, 1343.

The judgment of acquittal is affirmed in part; in remaining part, the judgment of acquittal is reversed, the conditional grant of a new trial is affirmed, and the case is remanded for further proceedings.
