Producer of 9/11 Conspiracy Film 'Loose Change' Arrested for Deserting the Army

Thursday, July 26, 2007

One of the young filmmakers behind a controversial 9/11 conspiracy documentary was arrested this week on charges that he deserted the Army, even though he claims he received an honorable discharge.

Korey Rowe, 24, who served with the 101st Airborne in Afghanistan and Iraq, told FOXNews.com that he was honorably discharged from the military 18 months ago — which he said he explained to sheriffs when they pounded on his door late Monday night.

“When they came to my house, I showed them my paperwork,” Rowe said. “The cops said, 'You’re still in the system.'”

Rowe is one of the producers of "Loose Change," a cult hit on the Internet espousing the theory that the U.S. government and specifically the Bush administration orchestrated the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

The movie is set to be released in about 40 British theaters in late August, according to Rowe and fellow filmmakers Jason Bermas and Dylan Avery.

Gonzales Contradicts Prior Statements, Confirms Existence Of Other Spying Programs

In his testimony today before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Attorney General Alberto Gonzales was asked by Sen. Arlen Specter (R-PA) to address inaccuracies in his 2006 testimony in relation to the Bush administration’s warrantless wiretapping program. “There has not been any serious disagreement about the program that the president has confirmed,” Gonzales said at the time.

Sen. Arlen Specter (R-PA) recalled that former Deputy Attorney General James Comey testified to a much different version of events. Comey said he had refused to sign on to an extension of the program “amid concerns about its legality and oversight.”

Today, Gonzales said Comey was referring to “other intelligence activities,” appearing to confirm that the Bush administration is operating more than one warrantless domestic spying program. In a heated back and forth with Specter, Gonzales stated:

The disagreement that occurred was about other intelligence activities and the reason for the visit to the hospital was about other intelligence activities. It was not about the terrorist surveillance program that the president announced to the American people.

Watch it:

Today’s testimony contradicts what Gonzales had said previously. In June, Gonzales claimed that both he and Comey were referring to the same domestic spying program. “Mr. Comey’s testimony related to a highly classified program which the president confirmed to the American people sometime ago,” he said.

If Gonzales’ testimony is accurate today, then he is confirming the existence of a new administration spying program.

Digg It!

Transcript:

SPECTER: Let me move quickly through a series of questions there’s a lot to cover. Starting with the issue Mr. Comey raises, you said “there has not been any disagreement about the program.” Mr. Comey’s testimony was that “Mrs. Gonzales began to discuss why they were there to seek approval” and he then says “I was very upset, I was angry, I thought I had just witnessed an effort to take advantage of a very sick man.”

GONZALES: The disagreement that occurred was about other intelligence activities and the reason for the visit to the hospital was about other intelligence activities. It was not about the terrorist surveillance program that the president announced to the american people.

SPECTER: Mr. Attorney General, do you expect us to believe that?

Calling into the Governor's Office

I wrote a letter to the Governor of Connecticut. Anyone that reads what I blog for any amount of time knows that I really blasted Governor John G. Rowland and have been both very critical and somewhat nice in reporting on Governor M. Jodi Rell.

I was holding out hope that Rell would address victims of the Rowland corruption and retaliation squads. But, I don't anymore.

I talked with a Jeff Lempke of Rell's office last Wednesday, and he seemed quite rude and abrupt. From our conversation I got that Rell isn't interested in having any police or judicial misconduct investigated, she is not interested in helping victims, and she is not interested in passing on information to the proper investigating agencies.

What does that say?

Couldn't have said it better myself

[stock photo with nothing to do with the Courant thread]

When I have time, I check out the threads on the Hartford Courant Online. This one caught my eye:

[Handle]
Black CSP Trooper
United States

The Governor's standard comment that she is confident that Commissioner Danaher will take the appropriate steps in the investigation, is the same thing she said for Commissioner Boyle. Look how those losers Lynch and Boyle screwed us up. This incident, just like the investigation in the New York Report will yield no action being taken. Danaher has already lied about easing miniorities fears about racism in CSP. How did you do that Commissioner Danaher? All of these incidents are brewing and heating up. When is a legislature, Commissioner, or Colonel going to get it. The leadership in the CSP is inadequate, disfunctional and incompetent. Get rid of some people by demoting them, or firing them. And then maybe some of this hap hazard fly by the seat of your pants leadership will stop and also this malicious retaliation that is going on in the department when troopers step up to protect themselves and others.

"The Federalist Papers", by Mary E. Webster

[click here] for more information on the "readable" version of the Federalist Papers. [where to buy]

I talked with an advocate to bring back checks and balances to the US. He is in Florida and was a target of police, lawyers, and members of the judiciary for his stance on an important issue. More than 50% of elected officials were or are lawyers. They legislate money in their pockets for themselves and each other. They legislate immunity for themselves, the judiciary, and for police. Lawyers can get DUIs, rape clients, steal from clients, and worse and get away with it. Police know that having a lawyer owe them a favor is a good thing, and vice versa.

He talked about the solution being for more of America reading and understanding what is in the Federalist Papers and reading the book, “The Underground Lawyer”.

Are You Sure?

June 14th, 2007

If there are a half-million legitimate terrorists suspects in the country then maybe we should take a hard look at their cause: If there are that many, maybe they’re on to something.

Much more likely, there are not at all 509,000 legitimate terror suspects here. More likely, it is your government at its maniacal work. The reason that conservatives and liberals alike fear Big Government and Big Police State Activities is that it runs entirely on its own – and runs amok.

ABC News reports and no one denies that the central government has some 509,000 people on its lists of terrorist suspects and that the list is growing growing growing. Imagining that even the best law enforcement agencies would miss quite a few, the suggestion is that there are millions of terror people here.

Or, far more to the point, that the FBI and federal snoopers are over-reaching once more. And the reports that the FBI is overreaching even its horizon-to-horizon power to watch how we sleep at night are terrifying aplenty. It is a sad business when the presumption, nearly automatic, is that the government is doing the wrong thing. But when you get lists after lists including just about everyone the government doesn’t like why would you assume differently?

The fact that the lists are full of errors and duplications doesn’t minimize the lists but makes them all the more suspicious. The further fact that critics of policy are lumped in with bombers and assassins make the whole game a menace.

Are you on the list?

No?

Are you sure?

Why would you be?

Quack, Quack

June 13th, 2007

As Oliver Hardy would say and America can say, too: “Well, here’s another nice mess you’ve gotten me into.”

It’s not a new thing that a president becomes a lame duck but President Bush especially has caused his lameness on his own – and we get to pay the price.

Although it probably is a very good thing that the Bush-Cheney administration, with their lapdog Joe Lieberman and the sadsack John McCain alone yipping and yapping ineffectively for crumbs, have so ruined their capacity to get anything done. If they weren’t in such a nice mess who knows what new depredations they’d inflict on the world? We’d be invading Iran by now; there wouldn’t be a shred of the Constitution or American liberties left; the central government and its churchy agenda-setters would be sitting in our living rooms even more than its spies and busybodies are already.

But because they have blown it, they are powerless to get such as that done. Good.

Less good is the truth that we actually need a president who can act and the Bush failure is costing us. Except for the totally blind loyalists, who would believe Bush & Co. when they come to demand more sacrifice for their addled goals – even if the cause was, like stopped clocks, rarely right and accurate?

They have squandered all their capital and the country’s too. They have lost the right to be believed or trusted. Accordingly if Iran in fact needs attention they are beyond belief when it comes to us following them. If North Korea of the Sudan or Timbuktu presents a problem, you simply cannot imagine that this administration would do the right thing – or be able to act if the right idea somehow magically occurred within their poisonous councils.

The country can’t deal with pressing immigration issues, or social, economic or governance matters because this administration has failed so totally that it couldn’t lead the government out of a burning building. No one would follow. No one.

Well, here’s another nice mess you’ve gotten me into, America says. Quack, quack, Bush says back.

Two time loser?

Most people who go to prison, either once, or more, guilty or innocent, can lose all or most of their friends and family contacts.

Not having any clothing or anything at all from before your stint in prison, is also possible.

Credit may never be repaired.

A home may never again be owned.

You may never even see your children again.

A police officer that doesn't listen to the chief, telling him or her, not to investigate organized crime figures, can have their children abducted in the middle of the night to be beaten at the police station in retaliation. The officer can face a felony arrest, for using the gas to go home at lunch, a common Connecticut police officer practice. Lodge a police misconduct complaint, and police can hire a hit man to kill you. If you wake up in the hospital with 13 stab wounds, maybe the felon police informant that was sent to kill you, won't be violated on probation, but maybe you'll be arrested for waking up in the hospital, alive. [example]

You may lose all faith in justice, in government, and in human nature. There is not guarantee that you wake up, on any given day, and you are taken away, again to lose everyone and all that you have built. If authorities do it once, they can easily keep on doing it, anytime, anywhere.

If you upset even one police officer, judge, prosecutor, or a friend of theirs, and you know, that there is an officer out there, taking to his or her friends about you, my advice is to sell what you have, and leave the state. Police can usually do as they please, when they please. Ritt Goldstein proposed Civilian Oversight of Police, [this video] is of Ritt's testimony in front of the Connecticut legislature. Ritt soon after, fled to Sweden, seeking political asylum.

If a police officer wants you out of business, out of your home, family, or any relationship, that can easily be arranged. Taking steps to sue a police officer, or to lodge a police misconduct complaint, especially against Connecticut State Troopers, almost always ends up in the citizen being arrested, the officer getting a lame investigation without a finding, and the citizen can be subject to the overwhelming wrath of all police, the courts, and their operatives.

Falsely accused and toasted, means someone powerful has to be implicated in their wrongdoing to get anything reversed. If they toast you once, the second time is cake.

I want my bogus criminal record cleaned up, just to go on with my life. There is no justice or payback, I just want to re-earn my retirement, be able to get a decent job, and live out my life. If you don't hear from me again on this blog, it means the official bad guys in Connecticut did me in again.

Although I do so with the utmost fear of further retaliation, I plan on going to a Connecticut courthouse, filing a motion to open my case, to have it thrown out. If I can do that, see you later, goodbye Connecticut, and on with my life.

I will either post that I have filed something, or you can eventually look me up as a Connecticut inmate. I have done nothing wrong, I did not do anything that should have landed me in prison the first time.

Maybe my letter to the current Connecticut State Police Commissioner John A. Danaher III, best describes my current and past situation. [click here]

The Connecticut State Police "Goon Sqaud", enforcers of the "Secret Enemies List"

Barbara D. Sattal, did she refer to LT Davoren, formerly the head honcho over at Connecticut State Police, Troop C, as "Dad"? Sattal was allegedly offered $10,000 to set me up for an arrest. The original plan was for her to get me to drink alcohol, drive her Chevrolet Blazer to my house where I would be pulled over, beaten, and then charged with DUI, assaulting officers, drug possession (as drugs would be planted), resisting arrest, etc. [click here] for post.

Davoren is now a Colonel in the Connecticut State Police. [Click Here] for more.

It seems that Connecticut Judges and the Connecticut State Police Officers that are involved in retaliation and Unconstitutional activities are on the fast track for promotions and advancement. Those that want quality and ethics within the system seem to face an intense barbecue.

What is up with that?

Could it be that there are an overabundance of practicing lawyers that are elected officials in Connecticut? The Connecticut attorneys have a real ethics scandal of their own stealing from clients, not doing their jobs for clients etc.
