Worldwide, Beyond Assholes ...

If the American government will detain and torture completely innocent people, and then torture, harass, and threaten them after years of an ordeal, to the very last minute possible, unnecessarily, and illegally, by all international standards, knowing they made a mistake, shows that no one in the world is currently safe from these people, especially Americans in America.

Who in the world will help us against the monsters in the US?

Ex-Terror Detainee Says U.S. Tortured Him
Tells 60 Minutes He Was Held Underwater, Shocked, And Suspended From the Ceiling

(CBS) At the age of 19, Murat Kurnaz vanished into America's shadow prison system in the war on terror. He was from Germany, traveling in Pakistan, and was picked up three months after 9/11. But there seemed to be ample evidence that Kurnaz was an innocent man with no connection to terrorism. The FBI thought so, U.S. intelligence thought so, and German intelligence agreed. But once he was picked up, Kurnaz found himself in a prison system that required no evidence and answered to no one.

The story Kurnaz told 60 Minutes correspondent Scott Pelley is a rare look inside that clandestine system of justice, where the government's own secret files reveal that an innocent man lost his liberty, his dignity, his identity, and ultimately five years of his life. [more]

2 Philadelphia Cops Suspended Over Racist Stickers [Fox webpage]

Saturday, March 29, 2008

PHILADELPHIA — Two narcotics officers were demoted from an elite strike force and suspended without pay because of racially offensive stickers found inside a police department locker.

Police Commissioner Charles H. Ramsey this week punished officers Scott Schweizer and Eric Dial, transferring the pair out of the Narcotics Strike Force to routine patrol in districts where they started as rookies. The officers were also each suspended for 20 days without pay and prohibited from using vacation days toward the unpaid leave.

Two racist stickers were found inside Schweizer's locker. One sticker read: "White Power." The other depicted a cartoon of a man, half as an officer in uniform and half as a Klansman, with the words "Blue By Day — White By Night."

Ramsey described the discipline as harsh but just, and said he stopped short of firing the officers because they "had no histories that would indicate that they engaged in any racist type of activities."

Schweizer's attorney, Allan J. Sagot, maintained that his client was the victim of a practical joke played by another officer, who affixed the stickers to the outside of Schweizer's locker. Once he saw the stickers, Schweizer pulled them off his locker and stuck them inside, Sagot said.

An Internal Affairs Bureau investigation concluded that Dial created the stickers and put them on Schweizer's locker in the narcotics strike force headquarters in the city's Bridesburg section, Ramsey said.

Hot Dog stealing Cop

Cop Accused Of Stealing Hot Dogs Gets Fired

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP) ― A Bridgeport police officer accused of stealing hot dogs from a courthouse concession stand has been fired.

Officer Murphy Pierce has been accused of stealing hot dogs from a vendor starting in late 2006 and later trying to tamper with witnesses in the case when the vendor complained.

A panel of police commissioners has signed off on the decision to fire Pierce. The board says the intimidation began in September 2006 when Pierce approached Michael Pinto, who operates the "Snappy Dog" concession stand near the courthouse.

The panel says Pinto feared losing his permit for the stand because the Police Department oversees that function.

Pierce has denied all the charges. [this piece, found here]

Excerpt: ... 22-year-old international arms dealer who faces a congressional inquiry for allegedly selling old Chinese ammunition to the U.S. military to equip allies in Afghanistan.

Diveroli is president of AEY Inc., a South Florida company which, according to U.S. government documents, has done more than $10 million of business with the U.S. government since 2004.

The papers also reveal the company struck it big in 2007 with contracts totaling more than $200 million to supply ammunition, assault rifles and other weapons to the Afghan National Army and police. The company's contract said it would get the ammunition from Hungary.

But Army investigators found what the Afghan military got included corroded ammunition made in China as long as 46 years ago. [more from CNN]

A War on Freedom for Profit

Bush's Petro-Cartel Almost Has Iraq's Oil

By Joshua Holland, AlterNet.

Iraqi oil is close to the surface and easy to extract, making it all the more profitable. James Paul, executive director of the Global Policy Forum, points out that oil companies "can produce a barrel of Iraqi oil for less than $1.50 and possibly as little as $1, including all exploration, oil field development and production costs." Contrast that with other areas where oil is considered cheap to produce at $5 per barrel or the North Sea, where production costs are $12 to $16 per barrel. [more]

It is time to "fix" King George

Connecticut Cops, Guns, drugs, money, "suicide", and Police Misconduct?

From Bad Cop News:

NORWALK, CONNECTICUT - Criminal charges will not be filed against two police officers drawn into the investigation of former Lt. Thomas Cummings, who was charged with sexual molestation, police and Judicial Branch sources said.

But an internal police investigation is under way, and Lt. Michael King and Sgt. Stephen Couture could face disciplinary action, said William Curwen, president of the police union.

The criminal investigation into the officers has ended without charges filed against them, Senior Assistant State’s Attorney Richard Colangelo said last week.

King, a 24-year veteran, was investigated for downloading pornographic material on his department computer and the police computer assigned to Cummings, Colangelo said.

Couture, who has 23 years on the force, last month was stripped of his command of the Youth Bureau. He was investigated for speaking to Cummings at the start of the probe into sexual abuse allegations against Cummings, Colangelo said.

Sources with knowledge of the investigation said Couture told Cummings immediately that he was under investigation by Colangelo, but withheld that information from his superiors for three days.

Reached on Friday, King and Couture declined to comment.

The officers’ conduct came under criminal review during the investigation of Cummings, which began in October.

The investigation began after a 15-year-old Weston boy told one of his high school teachers about his sexual relationship with Cummings, a source close to the investigation said.

That teacher contacted a Westport detective, who reported the allegation to Norwalk police. The probe was turned over to investigators in state Superior Court in Stamford.

Three months after the investigation began, Cummings was charged with having sex with two other 15-year-old boys and trying to lure another to his Dreamy Hollow condominium in Norwalk.

Cummings, a 24-year department veteran who quit after being charged, faces a maximum 115-year sentence for two counts of second-degree sexual assault, three counts of risk of injury to a minor and three counts of enticing a minor. No charges have been filed against Cummings that involve the Weston youth.

Cummings, who is free on $75,000 bond, has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Curwen said Couture and King received notice last week from Chief Harry Rilling that an internal investigation had begun. It will delve into material that court inspectors uncovered about King and Couture, Curwen said.

Rilling would not comment on the allegations.

“We are never happy when we have to investigate our officers, but that is our duty. We have to investigate all reports of wrongdoing, and we have to deal with it appropriately so the public will have confidence in the department,” Rilling said.

The investigation by Capt. Ernest Vitarbo of the Professional Standard Unit must wrap up in 60 days, Rilling said. Vitarbo could ask for an extension.

Rilling will determine whether disciplinary action is necessary when the findings are returned.

If an officer risks a suspension of more than 20 days without pay, demotion or firing, Rilling must offer two options. The officer may request a hearing conducted by Rilling or go before a trial board made up of Mayor Richard Moccia or his designee and one other police commissioner.

Editorial Reviews
Book Description
Drugging America is written by a former federal agent, Rodney Stich, in collaboration with dozens of other insiders. The coalition of government agents and deep-cover operatives (FBI, CIA, DEA, INS, Customs, ONI and others) reveal government corruption that is undermining, like a Trojan horse, the government and the people of the United States. Also contributing to the book's contents are police officers, Mafia family members, and former drug traffickers, former drug smugglers carrying out drug-smuggling assignments for people in the CIA and other government offices and operations, some of who were houseguests to Colombian drug lords, and former Mafia figures. Their insider information given directly to the author is bolstered by numerous government documents and other writings. There is no known other book that covers the arrogant and corrupt war on drugs as written by insiders.

From the Author
I have great appreciation for the many courageous people who contributed to the reporting of intrigue, arrogance, deception, and criminal misconduct of people in key positions in the three branches of the federal government that I personally discovered and documented. By their willingness to provide information and documentation to me, I have been motivated to continue my efforts to inform as many people as possible of the harm being inflicted by these government personnel upon all of America and particularly on thousands of individual men and women.

Without their assistance, this and my other books would be less complete and a smaller part of the bizarre story could be conveyed to the readers.

These people, numbering in the dozens, consist of present and past government agents and deep- cover operatives from such government agencies as the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS), U.S. Customs Service (USCS), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Secret Service (SS), and state agencies. Also, prior drug traffickers and Mafia family members.

These sources either discovered the misconduct described within these pages as part of their official duties, or they were part of the activities, acting under orders.

In preparing this manuscript for the printer, appreciation is given to Glenda Guilinger for her proofreading. Having acquired her pilot's license at the age of 17, she is my "copilot" and partner who spent many hours going over the manuscript and helping with corrections and clarification. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

The information provided was advance warnings of aircraft bombings, bombing of U.S. facilities in Africa, the downing of TWA Flight 800, and the hijackings of U.S. airliners. The fraudulent discrediting of this valuable information was due to two reasons: One was to cover up for the fact that a key FBI Supervisory Agent had a secret alliance with a key Colombo Mafia figure that involved numerous murders. As a result of discrediting the valuable information (that most people close to the undercover work considered absolutely authentic), the warnings of bombings and aircraft terrorism followed. This required cover-ups by FBI and DOJ officials; cover-ups by the NTSB; cover-ups by the key cover-ups groups, members of Congress and the controlled media. To carry out the schemes, FBI and DOJ officials engaged in false charges, with former federal agents in prison, or denied their retirement pensions, and other abuses.Murderous activities of Mafia figures, and the involvement of FBI agents. The corrupt actions by federal judges, including the present U.S. Attorney General, Michael Mukasey.Making it all possible, the cover-ups by members of Congress; the cover-ups by the American media; and the pathetic lack of knowledge−or interest−by most Americans.Explains and documents several segments of activities in government that constitute a far greater risk, and the source for the greatest action harm, directly and indirectly, that any other threat faced by the American people (other than nuclear attack from missiles or suitcase nuclear bombs).Years of prior efforts by courageous (and foolish insiders) haven't woken up the American people. A Joke?

You might think that the 3 Stooges were running things ...

Air Force Secretary Michael Wynne
US Air Force Secretary Michael Wynne was "very concerned"
The US says it has launched an investigation after four fuses for intercontinental ballistic missiles were mistakenly sent to Taiwan. [BBC]

The shipment, which should have been helicopter batteries, was made in 2006 but only discovered last week.

The Pentagon says no nuclear materials were shipped and the parts have been returned to the US.

The issue of US arms sales to Taiwan is sensitive as China regards the island as a renegade province.

Second blunder

The BBC's Jane O'Brien in Washington says senior officials have described the incident as "disconcerting" and "intolerable".

Taiwan had pointed out the error, but owing to a two-year miscommunication the US administration remained unaware of it until last week.

The shipment had been sent from a US airbase in Wyoming.

Our correspondent says the components are not in themselves nuclear material but do form part of a long-range missile system that could deliver a nuclear weapon.

Air Force Secretary Michael Wynne said: "It is a component for the fuse in the nose cone for a nuclear system. We are very concerned about it."

President George W Bush and the Chinese government were informed about the error.

Beijing vehemently opposes US arms sales to Taiwan and has threatened to attack the island if it declares independence.

The mistaken shipment is the second blunder in recent months.

Last August a B-52 bomber flew across several US states mistakenly armed with nuclear-tipped cruise missiles.

PBS Frontline

I watched the first part of "Bush's War" on Frontline tonight.

What Bush was up to on September 14, 2001, says volumes. He knowingly lied about an African Iraqi Uranium transaction. We were lied into a war. If there was a war on terror, there would have been more activity going after terror links in Afghanistan and the Ground war in Iraq would have never been pursued.

Those in power in the US have no concern for what the public wants and care little what all this will cost us. George W. Bush might well be the most hated figure in the world, hands down.

October 14-15, 2007 -- Blackwater training police in American cities and towns
The mercenary firm Blackwater USA is well known for the controversy involving its "shoot first, ask no questions" policy in Iraq. It is also known that Louisiana's Department of Homeland Security contracted with Blackwater to provide public law enforcement services in New Orleans following hurricane Katrina. Blackwater is also planning to establish regional training centers in Potrero, California and Mount Carroll, Illinois, billed as Blackwater West and Blackwater North, respectively.

These training centers, in addition to Blackwater's Lodge and Training Center in Moyock, North Carolina -- Blackwater East -- and a possible fourth rumored to be slated for the Pacific Northwest -- Blackwater Northwest -- may result in the establishment of a network of Blackwater-trained police, sheriffs, and other police units around the country. Given Blackwater's dismal record on human rights and brutality, this spells trouble for civilian control of police and paramilitary forces in the United States, from major metropolitan areas to small rural towns.

On October 14, the Washington Post ran a story, which included photographs from Blackwater's Moyock training center. However, what was most intriguing was a photograph of a police and military patch board at Blackwater's headquarters that indicated the police agencies that have sent their officers to Moyock for training.

Blackwater is secretive about its non-federal, as well as its foreign clients, which the Post pointed out includes Jordan, Azerbaijan, and Burkina Faso, but a WMR inspection of the photograph of the police agencies has yielded the following list of agencies that have used Blackwater for training:

A number of the police departments that have been trained by Blackwater have abysmal civil rights and police brutality records, most notably the Chicago Police and Illinois State Police, both cited by former Illinois Governor George Ryan as being guilty of police misconduct in his decision to commute the death sentences of Illinois' death row inmates.

It was a decision that likely had much to do with his indictment by the Bush administration on corruption charges -- political misuse of the Department of Justice that has been seen in the indictments and investigations of Alabama former Democratic Governor Don Siegelman and HealthSouth former CEO Richard Scrushy, Qwest's former CEO Joseph Nacchio, Democratic campaign contributor Martha Stewart, Coastal Corporation's former Chairman and Democratic contributor Oscar Wyatt, and Democratic-leaning trial attorneys around the United States, as well as the firings of several U.S. Attorneys who refused to engage in political prosecutions, and a Justice Department workup on North Carolina presidential candidate John Edwards in 2004.

The training and potential political indoctrination of police officers by the extreme right-wing and proto-fascist Blackwater, coupled with the politicization of the Justice Department and U.S. courts, has the potential for the streets of Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Atlanta, New York, and Washington, DC, as well as Chillicothe, Harvey Cedars, and Elmira to turn as bloody as the streets of Baghdad and Fallujah.

Citizens have a distinct opportunity of confronting their local elected city, county, and town officials over Blackwater training of their police officers. Local officials should be pressured to reveal the numbers and identities of officers trained by Blackwater, the subjects covered by the training, the revenues spent, and a public demand should be made to cease and desist in such training.

Taxpayer funded Iraqi Party

Lawyers, Prostitutes, and Circumvented Justice?

Eliot Spitzer may have evolved in a lawyer culture, where White males, think they can own their own prostitutes, trade them, gamble with them as "chips", lend them out, and use them to pay police, judges, other lawyers, and prosecutors to fix cases.

23 year old Rebecca F. told me that she was pursued, endured aggressive recruit attempts, to be "owned" by a lawyer to serve drinks in a private club, owned and run by organized crime figures, where only White lawyers, judges, prosecutors, attorneys, elected officials, members of organized crime, and police brass smoked cigars, drank fine wine and Scotch, gambled, cavorted, and conspired to fix cases, retaliate against targets, illegally obtain property and businesses, to put rivals out of business, keep minorities separate and unequal, steer contracts, contracting "hits" and assaults, and skim taxpayer dollars into their own accounts.

Rebecca told me a lawyer would take half of any money she made in tips and for acts of prostitution. She also said she would have to service the lawyer anytime he wanted, anytime he wanted, and to provide sexual services to others, on demand, at no compensation, at his whim.

Eliot Spitzer was allegedly involved in election rigging with Hillary Clinton and the New York Times brass.

I evicted 3 prostitutes out of my Stafford Springs, CT, properties, against the wishes of a Prosecutor Keith Courier, Stafford Constables, and Troop C, Connecticut State Police. [This email] was sent today to the CT LT Gov and Atty General today. Landlord Donald Christmas [video] also evicted 3 prostitutes off out of his property against the wishes of police, he then, also, was attacked by a police informant, and only he faced prison, no deals. See a pattern?

Should lawyers that help run these brothels, have this warning label?:

To be this brazen ...

one would have to suspect that cops running child prostitution and exploitation rings might be more common than can be imagined.

Pa. trooper protected child prostitution ring, feds say
Wednesday, March 12, 2008

HARRISBURG -- A former Pennsylvania state trooper tipped off pimps who ran a child prostitution ring in exchange for money and sex, federal prosecutors said today in announcing charges against him.

Kevin J. Coleman, 42, of Harrisburg, was accused of interfering with a nationwide investigation into a ring that used women and teenagers as prostitutes. He was accused of disclosing investigative details, wiretaps and police sweeps.

Prosecutors said Mr. Coleman was assigned to anti-prostitution patrols at the Gables Truck Stop near Harrisburg when pimps -- many from Toledo, Ohio -- were operating there.

The federal investigation known as Precious Cargo led to the conviction of 14 pimps and two lead prostitutes, all awaiting sentencing.

Mr. Coleman resigned as a state trooper after learning he was under investigation, prosecutors said. It could not immediately be determined if he has a lawyer.

The federal indictment in December 2005 that broke up the ring described it as a "loose confederacy" where pimps worked together to avoid police and run their business. The women and girls were moved from state to state and "sold" between pimps.

At least nine were under age 18 when they were forced into working as prostitutes, authorities said, and in one case a 12-year-old girl was forced to engage in prostitution to pay for her grandfather's crack cocaine.

The pimps were indicted in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Michigan, and the investigation was considered one of the largest coordinated efforts to break up child prostitution rings in the United States.

Investigators said they identified at least 125 women who worked as prostitutes for the ring in the Harrisburg area.

Peace from the BBC

March from London to Aldermaston

It started life as the emblem of the British anti-nuclear movement but it has become an international sign for peace, and arguably the most widely used protest symbol in the world. It has also been adapted, attacked and commercialised.

CND logo
It had its first public outing 50 years ago on a chilly Good Friday as thousands of British anti-nuclear campaigners set off from London's Trafalgar Square on a 50-mile march to the weapons factory at Aldermaston.

The demonstration had been organised by the Direct Action Committee Against Nuclear War (DAC) and the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) joined in.

I drew myself: the representative of an individual in despair, with hands palm outstretched outwards and downwards in the manner of Goya's peasant before the firing squad
Gerald Holtom
Gerald Holtom, a designer and former World War II conscientious objector from West London, persuaded DAC that their aims would have greater impact if they were conveyed in a visual image. The "Ban the Bomb" symbol was born.

He considered using a Christian cross motif but, instead, settled on using letters from the semaphore - or flag-signalling - alphabet, super-imposing N (uclear) on D (isarmament) and placing them within a circle symbolising Earth.

The sign was quickly adopted by CND.

Holtom later explained that the design was "to mean a human being in despair" with arms outstretched downwards.

US peace symbol

American pacifist Ken Kolsbun, who corresponded with Mr Holtom until his death in 1985, says the designer came to regret the connotation of despair and had wanted the sign inverted.

New York rally 1967
Anti-Vietnam protesters at a rally in New York
"He thought peace was something that should be celebrated," says Mr Kolsbun, who has spent decades documenting the use of the sign. "In fact, the semaphore sign for U in 'unilateral' depicts flags pointing upwards. Mr Holtom was all for unilateral disarmament."

In a book to commemorate the symbol's 50th birthday, Mr Kolsbun charts how it was transported across the Atlantic and took on additional meanings for the Civil Rights movement, the counter-culture of the 1960s and 70s including the anti-Vietnam protests, and the environmental, women's and gay rights movements.

He also argues that groups opposed to those tendencies tried to use the symbol against them by distorting its message.

How the sign migrated to the US is explained in various ways. Some say it was brought back from the Aldermaston protest by civil rights activist Bayard Rustin, a black pacifist who had studied Gandhi's techniques of non-violence.

In Peace: The biography of a symbol, Mr Kolsbun describes how in just over a decade, the sign had been carried by civil rights "freedom" marchers, painted on psychedelic Volkswagens in San Francisco, and on the helmets of US soldiers on the ground in Vietnam.

The peace sign was adopted by the counter-culture movement
"The sign really got going over here during the 1960s and 70s, when it became associated with anti-Vietnam protests," he told the BBC News website.

As the combat escalated, he says, so did the anti-war protests and the presence of the symbol.

"This, of course, led some people to condemn it as a communist sign," says Mr Kolsbun. "There has always been a lot of misconception and disinformation about it."

As the sign became a badge of the burgeoning hippie movement of the late 1960s, the hippies' critics scornfully compared it to a chicken footprint, and drew parallels with the runic letter indicating death.

In 1970, the conservative John Birch Society published pamphlets likening the sign to a Satanic symbol of an upside-down, "broken" cross.

While it remained a key symbol of the counter-culture movement throughout the 1970s, it returned to its origins in the 1980s, when it became the banner of the international grassroots anti-nuclear movement.

The real power of the sign, its supporters say, is the reaction that it provokes - both from fans and from detractors.

Student protestor
In the UK, the sign is still associated with the Ban the Bomb movement
The South African government, for one, tried to ban its use by opponents of apartheid In 1973.

And, in 2006, a couple in suburban Denver found themselves embroiled in a dispute over their use of a giant peace sign as a Christmas wreath. The homeowners' association threatened them with a daily fine if they didn't remove it.

The association eventually backed down because of public pressure, but a member told a local newspaper it was clearly an "anti-Christ sign" with "a lot of negativity associated with it.".

US soldier
A US soldier patrols a village outside Baghdad

CND has never registered the sign as a trademark, arguing that "a symbol of freedom, it is free for all". It has now appeared on millions of mugs, T-shirts, rings and nose-studs. Bizarrely, it has also made an appearance on packets of Lucky Strike cigarettes.

A decade ago, the sign was chosen during a public vote to appear on a US commemorative postage stamp saluting the 1960s.

The symbol that helped define a generation of baby boomers may not as widely used today as in the past. It is in danger of becoming to many people a retro fashion item, although the Iraq war has seen it re-emerge with something like its original purpose.

"It is still the dominant peace sign," argues Lawrence Wittner, an expert on peace movements at the University at Albany in New York.

"Part of that is down to its simplicity. It can be used as a shorthand for many causes because it can be reproduced really quickly - on walls on floors, which is important, in say, repressive societies."

And can its success be measured? Fifty years on, wars have continued to be waged and the list of nuclear-armed states has steadily lengthened.

But the cup is half-full as well as half empty.

"There are many ways in which nuclear war has been prevented," says Mr Wittner. "The hawks say that the reason nuclear weapons have not been used is because of the deterrent. But I believe popular pressure has restrained powers from using them and helped curbed the arms race.

And the symbol of and inspiration for that popular pressure, is Mr Holtom's graphic, says Mr Wittner.

Peace: A biography of a symbol is published by National Geographic Books in April.

for Sexual Assault on a 14 year old by a 34 year old!!!

I received a year in prison for resisting being mugged. Stories, like the one below upset beyond any measure as my whole life and everything I have ever worked for went down the toilet when I went to prison. When I was in prison, I read in the Manchester Journal Inquirer in Connecticut, that an armed robber, a repeat offender, got ten years probation for armed robbery. I then read a man that was repeat offender, raped a woman, got probation. Just recently, 6 gang members stabbed a young man to death. Yeah, you guessed it, they got probation, no prison!

From the Hartford Courant:
East Hartford Man Gets Probation For Assault

By CHRISTINE DEMPSEY | Courant Staff Writer
6:04 PM EDT, March 19, 2008

MANCHESTER - A man who was accused of attempting to sexually assault a 14-year-old in East Hartford last year was sentenced to probation today in Superior Court.

Derwick Smith, 34, of Depauw Circle in East Hartford pleaded guilty under the Alford doctrine to impairing the morals of a minor. Charges of criminal attempt to commit first-degree sexual assault and disorderly conduct were not prosecuted. Under the Alford doctrine, a defendant does not admit guilt, but acknowledges there may be enough evidence for a conviction.

Smith, who works as a system administrator at a computer firm, paid a $220 fine and agreed to follow a series of conditions, including one that he have no unsupervised contact with children under 16.

His full sentence is five years in prison, suspended, and five years of probation.

According to the arrest report, the girl, who knows Smith, told police he tried to force himself on her Sept. 27. Smith denied it, it says.

My comment to the article posted on the Courant forum:

I got a year in prison for resisting being mugged on my own Connecticut property. I had no previous record.

Stories like these upset me to know end. I had $500,000 in real estate, a relationship with my daughter, a home, retirement, everything gone because I went to prison for pepper spraying a mugger. I am serving a life sentence and complete criminals get probation!

6 gang members kill a young man, get probation, no prison! I get prison for resisting being robbed by a garbage human, felon.

I give Connecticut legislators a piece of my mind here:

Reaction to War

How are some young adult Americans reacting to having fought in Iraq?

KILL EVERYBODY: American soldier exposes US policy in Iraq

Text with youtube video:

"KILL EVERYBODY" - US ARMY SPECIALIST DARRELL ANDERSON EXPOSES US POLICY "I joined in '03," 'cause I was broke, I needed money, but I was a young American kid, I wanted to fight in a war. I joined up.

[A] month out of training I arrived in Baghdad, Iraq, January '04. Saddam's been captured. And I get there and the guys I'm serving with have been there for six months already; they were there in '03. And I go, "Well, you know what, I think it's come out that, you know, these people had nothing to do with 9/11, there was no Iraqi on those planes. We can see around here there's no Al Qaida, there's no terrorist syndicates in Baghdad, or Iraq. Saddam had stamped 'em out."

And I asked my buddies, "Well, you know, we're here to find 'weapons of mass destruction'." And they laughed at me. And I said, "Well, you know, we're here to 'help the people.'" And they laughed at me. And I said, "What's our mission? What's our goal?"

...They're like, "All we're trying to do is make it home alive..."

Anderson describes the escalation of violence against unarmed civilians:

"In April, they told us, "In a crowded area, if one person shoots at you, kill everybody." Anderson explains the rationale from the officers, "They [members of the crowd of people] are letting them [the person or persons firing at the U.S. military] attack you. They're no longer innocent if they're there at the time of the crime..." (9/11 conference, Chandler AZ Feb 23-25, 2007) / snowshoefilms post-production/ 9:46 Some relevant background: In trying to suppress the Yugoslavian resistance, German Gen. Keitel, supreme commander of the armed forces, issued this order in Sept. 1941:

"In order to nip disorders in the bud the sternest measures must be applied at the first sign of insurrection. It should also be taken into consideration that in the countries in question a human life is often valueless. In a reprisal for the life of a German soldier, the general rule should be capital punishment for 50-100 Communists. The manner of execution must have a frightening effect."

Perhaps the American generals, the neo-cons, and the new world order planners who direct them are copying the Nazi playbook. More likely, though, they are progressing along parallel lines because they've committed the same egregious war crimes; they can only compound their crimes until they "kill everybody" who resists them. The Yugoslavian partisans fighting German fascism were called "communists." Today, U.S. fascism calls that same resistance in Iraq and Afghanistan "terrorist." Gen. Keitel was hanged for this and other war crimes by the Nuremberg Tribunal on October 16, 1946.

After 7 months in Iraq, Darrell Anderson, 22, decided that he wasn't to risk going back to Iraq to kill or be killed. He fled to Canada, a deserter. While there, though, he felt he wasn't doing enough to expose and stop the war and returned to U.S. and, possibly, a long prison sentence. Perhaps to undermine the legal case of other deserters in Canada, the U.S. military imprisoned Anderson only a few days, releasing him with a 'less than honorable' discharge. Given Anderson's heroic determination to organize and help GI and other war resisters, the U.S. military may come to believe they've made a mistake. / www.SNOWSHOEFILMS.COM

Yor Yevrah updates: PSDplat asks, "wtf does he [Darrel Anderson] mean, 'expose 911'?" Good question. Anderson, gung-ho when he got to Iraq, quickly learned that Saddam had nothing to do with Sept. 11. It takes a while longer to come to grips with the deeper lie that 9/11 was an inside job. Defenders of the official conspiracy theory (19 Arab hijackers) enable the inside-job perpetrators to get away with their crimes and cover-up and to continue the mother of all hate crimes, the racist, genocidal, global and ersatz "war on terror".

One indication that a person's belief system (cognition) is unsound and unstable (and manipulated) is his use of ad hominem attacks (name calling) in a desperate attempt to repress an impinged perspective. CereaLVII, for example, indicates he himself is in a high state of cognitive dissonance (denial). If his belief system was secure he wouldn't be provoked into calling Darrell Anderson a "pussy," and so forth.

Abolish the Connecticut State Police

The US Constitution

If the US Constitution was to be filed away in a local library, what section would it be filed under, children's fairy tales or fiction?

The 1st Amendment and others no longer seem to apply, especially after almost 8 years of the Bush Regime. The 2nd Amendment, whether individuals, have a right to carry pistols, or maybe even to bare arms at all might be decided tomorrow by the US Supreme Court.

If there is no Second Amendment, there definitely is no First.

Dangerous Goofball Squad, The Connecticut State Police

200 of these guys went whining on how abused they are to Connecticut legislators. They claim that they are retaliated against by higher up, one another, and there isn't any fairness.

Whine, whine, bitch, bitch ... bitch.

It is ridiculous.
If the police are this juvenile to each other, what worse treatment are taxpayers getting?

I mentioned something needed to be done to up the quality of the Connecticut State Police and Connecticut courts to State Senators Kissel and Guglielmo. The State Police then sent druggie felon police operatives to harass and threaten me at my properties. I persisted, asking for Civilian Oversight of police, and ended up railroaded to prison. So, I don't feel sorry for some whining troopers.

Ritt Goldstein went to the Connecticut Judiciary Committee legislators and testified at a special meeting, and later was so terrorized by police he fled Connecticut to seek political asylum in Sweden.

Connecticut teacher Julie Amero had porn pop up on a computer in a classroom. It was no fault of her own, she still has to worry about serving 40 years in prison for this.

6 gang members stabbed another to death. They received no prison time!

I resist being mugged on my own property and I get prison. The mugger doesn't even get arrested!

Abolish the Connecticut State Police and reduce crime and police misconduct.

Connecticut Chief State's Attorney, Kevin T. Kane, seems to have built his career by helping cover up official, attorney, prosecutorial, and judicial and Police Misconduct. Is he following in the footsteps of Christopher Morano and John Baily?

If official felony allegations are made to Kane and he does nothing more than ignore it, or rudely, and arrogantly threaten a citizen of whistle blower making allegations, is Kane guilty of felonies?

[This] is just one item Kane should have acted on, or are felonies committed in the Judicial Branch, when internal whistle blowers testify at a public hearing, no crimes if "important" people break the law?

Another One: Top Federal Judge Linked to Prostitution Ring

Officials: Edward Nottingham Was 'Implicated as a Customer' in an Investigation of the Denver Sugar/Denver Players

Chief Federal Judge Edward Nottingham has been linked to an investigation of the prostitution ring Denver Players, according to federal officials. (Denver Post)

March 14, 2008

One of the country's top federal judges has been linked to an investigation of a Denver-based prostitution ring, according to federal officials.

Edward Nottingham, the chief federal judge in Denver, Colo., was "implicated as a customer" in an ongoing IRS and Denver police investigation of an alleged prostitution operation called Denver Sugar/Denver Players, according to officials.

The service advertised on the Internet as having "gorgeous adult Colorado companions."

According to a Denver television station, KUSA, Judge Nottingham's nickname among the prostitutes was "Naughty."

Several "professional athletes," lawyers and businessmen are also involved, officials said.

Unlike the prostitution investigation in New York that led to this week's resignation of New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer, the Denver case has received little attention outside Colorado.

The chief judge of the 10th Federal Circuit Court, Robert Henry, is "taking under advisement a complaint about a judge's conduct," according to the Rocky Mountain News. The person who filed the complaint confirmed to the paper that the judge is Nottingham.

Judge Nottingham has remained on the bench since being publicly linked to the investigation last week. His office referred calls to his lawyer, Stephen Peters, who said Judge Nottingham "has no public comment at this time."

Based on the Web site of Denver Sugar/Denver Players, prostitution prices seem to be substantially lower than those in New York.

According to published reports, Judge Nottingham, appointed to the federal bench in 1989 by President George H.W. Bush, paid $300 to $400 for "all-inclusive" sex with prostitutes working for the Denver Sugar/Denver Players service.

New York Gov. Spitzer paid $4,300 for two hours with a prostitute named "Kristen," according to an FBI affidavit in which he was referred to as Client 9.

Judge Nottingham's conduct has been in question twice before. Last year, the Denver Post reported that FBI agents questioned his ex-wife "after she revealed he spent thousands of dollars at the Diamond Cabaret strip club and subscribed to an Internet dating site that contains pornography."

Judge Nottingham testified in the divorce proceedings he "had a lot to drink" he didn't remember what happened at the strip club, according to the paper.

In another case, a Denver disabled woman filed a complaint against Judge Nottingham after she said he parked illegally in a handicapped spot and then threatened her when she tried to get him to move his car.

Jeanne Elliott, a lawyer who was disabled after being shot by a client's husband, told Judge Nottingham "waved his judge's badge and threatened to have me arrested by U.S. Marshals."

According to reports, Nottingham was ticketed by police, paid a $100 fine and in a statement said he regretted parking in the handicapped space in his haste to pick up a prescription but disagreed with Elliott's version of events.

Judge Nottingham presided over the high-profile insider-trading trial of Qwest CEO Joe Nacchio, which ended in Nacchio's conviction last year.

US Mass Murder Weapon?

Why, do I think this might be possible? [post]

You might see police in the US pull up to crowds in US cities when there might be some sort of political protest.

The selling point on the "Active Denial System" is that is safe and non-lethal.

Special sniper units of mainly White State Police officers, were allegedly used to execute African Americans in the New Orleans area after Hurricane Katrina hit, during the news Black Out. The bodies were allegedly stacked into tractor trailers with "refers" to keep the bodies from smelling. Allegedly two of these such trailers were flown over deep water by Chinook helicopters and dropped in.

An officer, deployed in New Orleans, Louisiana, told me that they would be working on a more efficient way to take care of "unwanted" citizens during national emergencies or in the event Martial Law is declared.

If there is to be a Mass Murder plan inside the US, the "Active Denial System" could be set to "high" and citizens could sizzle and pop on sidewalks. Loaders could scoop up the toast and ooze and dump it in standard container ship container ship containers, trucked to port, and then dumped out in the ocean right off the ship. Or, where cargo trains are loaded on US Downtowns, makeshift outdoor prison camps could be set up, citizens could be fried to a crisp in an organized fashion, loaded on trains, and then America is George W. Bush-style "sanitized".

I have been doing a lot of driving lately. I can remember so many little diners, family restaurants, ethic restaurants, breakfast nooks, bars, cafes, etc that are now closed. So, when I pass by an old haunt, I bring my camera in. I will stop at spots I have never been, too, and shoot videos such as these:

Day and Night Diner, Palmer, MA

Lake Zoar Drive-In Restaurant, Monroe, CT

If you want just chain restaurants and a predictable, same old meal, keep eating at just chain restaurants.

What about Julie?

Official Connecticut is showing just how abusive, and medieval, it treats its citizens. A teacher that had nothing to do with porn popping up on a laptop computer faced decades in prison, allegedly miscarried a baby, and goes through daily torment, not knowing if she will be maliciously prosecuted by a system with officials that will knowingly prosecute an innocent woman.

Do they want to terrorize her out of suing and going after Connecticut police for misconduct and citizen abuse? What about the ridiculousness of Connecticut courts and judges, do they want to keep the pressure on her to keep her terrorized and quiet.

the subject blogged on [here]

Should Connecticut Chief State's Attorney Kevin Kane be looked into being prosecuted for what he has been doing behind the scenes and making statements like this?

"Sometimes in life you have to wait," Kane told me. "There is not a thing I can share with you."

One of Amero's leading supporters, Florida software executive Alex Eckelberry, told me he was at a recent conference in Vienna, Austria, where the Amero case was presented as an example of justice run amok.

"They were absolutely astounded," said Eckelberry, who helped assemble a team of experts to rebut the house-of-cards prosecution of Amero. [more here, scroll down]

An Open Letter To
Chief State's Attorney
Kevin T. Kane

The Julie Amero case has created outrage in internet forums and among computer experts all
over the country. Briefly, Julie Amero was seven months pregnant and acting as a substitute
seventh grade teacher in Norwich, Connecticut. She left the classroom briefly, and while
she was gone some of her students used the class computer to surf the web. When she
returned a stream of pornographic pop-up ads began to appear. She panicked and tried to
stop the pop-ups but did not turn off the computer because she had been firmly instructed
not to do so. She was charged with exposing her students to pornography and convicted in
January. She now faces up to forty (40) years in prison.

Many computer experts believe that the stream of obscene pop-up ads were caused by
malicious spyware and adware programs which users seldom know have infected their
computers until too late - after they have done their evil work. It is most troubling that the
computer had no firewall protection - apparently because a vendor's bill went unpaid - and
that the prosecution did not make a search for spyware.

An excellent suggestion has been offered by Mark Rasch, former chief of the U.S.
Department of Justice's cyber crime unit:

"Find an independent investigator with no
preconceived notions at all and find out what happened." We the undersigned computer
science professors at Yale, UCONN, Wesleyan, Trinity, the University of Hartford, and the
State Universities urge you to take up Mark Rasch's suggestion, and to delay sentencing
Julie Amero until the investigator has filed his report.

I wanted to complain about Kevin Kane and came up with [this webpage], I would be complaining to him, about him. How ridiculous is that?

Kevin Kane's name comes up a lot. Kevin Kane has been on various panels where felony behavior of officials has been reported. Citizens reporting crimes of officials to Kevin Kane can be treated rudely, and allegations are often not investigated. Something I can personally attest to.

Kane may even turn over names of complainers to the heads of the Connecticut State Police so that a citizen can be put under secret surveillance and covertly ruined, terrorized, to face false arrest and to be held as a political prisoner.

Kevin Kane, in my opinion, should be investigated by an outside entity and prosecuted for public corruption, cover ups, obstruction of justice, racketeering, fixing cases, and other crimes.
