Arizona, Police State Testing Ground

Road blocks can be set up 50 miles above the Mexican/US border. Occupants of cars are questioned about where they are going, what they are doing, what they have in their cars etc. Those who look like they don't have European ancestry are questioned further for excuses to detain. How willing are Americans to have checkpoints where we the people can be detained, arrested, have our property confiscated, and can be jailed for just questioning police state rudeness and abuse?

A class-action lawsuit filed Thursday in U.S. District Court in Toledo alleges U.S. Border Control agents at the Sandusky station and police officers in Norwalk, Plymouth and Attica engaged in discriminatory and illegal racial profiling.

Without reasonable suspicion or probable cause, the suit contends, police officers and border patrol agents restrained, interrogated and arrested people solely because they looked Hispanic.

"In none of those local cases were the people ever ticketed or arrested for anything," said lead counsel Mark Heller

Arresting the "Brown Skins" (April 2008)

Text with video:
Arizona Sheriff Joseph M. Arpaio is in the news again. Anyone looking Hispanic or with "Brown skin" is a target of Sheriff Joe.

It is not illegal to be of Spanish descent.

This sheriff's activities seem to be racist, Un-american, and Unconstitutional.
