Sierra Vista Az, 2009 -A new study by the RAND Arroyo Center looks at the need for a Special Police Force to be funded by the American people for either foreign or domestic policing in the event of large-scale critical situations. Interestingly, it seems that they may be looking at this initially as a way to supplement their military forces overseas and to provide long-term security options outside of normal military operations. In many cases as can be seen in some of our last "interventions," there remains an aspect that is severely lacking. The U.S. Military is unfortunately not set up to handle long term policing, as it is an organization primarily focused on military action, which will not work in a civilian atmosphere.
According to the RAND study, "The absence of security makes it difficult to rebuild political, economic, and other sectors. It also makes it difficult to repair and construct basic infrastructure such as water, oil, transportation, or electricity systems, as the U.S. experience in Iraq makes clear." As can be seen in Iraq military force is not trained to deal with the civilian population in the same manner as a civilian police force may be. After all most military forces are not trained to provide security rather they function by overcoming other force with superior force. A large part of this report directly address's the question regarding inclusion of additional foreign agencies and militaries in the formation and training of this force in the United States.
According to the RAND study, "The SPF could be used for missions such as: shaping an environment before a conflict; law enforcement duties in an active conflict environment; or security, stability, transition and reconstruction (SSTR) operations after a conflict." The study has concluded that the logical organization to house this new potential policing organization would be the U.S. Marshals service. The reason for this is the U.S. Marshals Service current role in high end policing here in the United States, of course the question should be raised is this an organization that is Constitutional, and will it be used within our own borders.
Given that some of the duties would be intelligence gathering on potential "terrorist" or other threats which could include organized crime as well, one should assume that due to the recent publication of descriptions of what is a Domestic Terrorist by the Department of Homeland Security, would affect the decisions made by this organization. According to recommendations, it is primarily meant for foreign interests where the need for a true police force exists. It is this authors understanding however; that most of the rest of the world does not utilize our Constitution hence utilizing a U.S. Hybrid Police Force would in fact be forcing this decision on other portions of the world where the various social differences may cause problems beyond what we see now. It should also be noted however, that the authors of this study were clear in that they agree and understand that a foreign nation must be able to establish their own law enforcement over time as well. According to the RAND study, "a major U.S. or international role could undermine a population's confidence in their government, since it suggests that the government is too weak or incompetent to provide for the country's security."
The author is not necessarily against the use of better planning in military operations or in potential crisis locations however, is it necessary to use military in a domestic police force and would this not counter the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878? This act prohibits the use of military personnel inside the United States in the role of civilian law enforcement authorities. It is this authors understanding that by having the U.S. Marshals service heading this organization whether it be used domestically or not would remain irrelevant; after all the simple reality is that by using military personnel to supplement a United States civilian law enforcement agency we are in fact countering the Posse Comitatus Act.
It is this author's opinion that either we use civilian contracted police forces specifically trained for each theater of operation or we train military police in civilian methodology to shape a more beneficial outcome. Obviously, this would and could still become and issue should insurrection or other potential national security "problems" occur however, it does allow for a Constitutional approach to a modern problem. While this report does not specifically mention the use of such a force within our nation's boundaries, the idea is inherent given the reasoning behind it. Just as our Congressmen and Senators promised that the Patriot Act would not be used within this nation (and it has been several times against non-terrorist citizens.) we should take into account what recourse we would have if it was decided to use a force such as this within our borders. For this author a force like this is reminiscent of the Nazi Special police and the Communist Russia Special police units who were in effect shock troops specially designed to react regardless of potential innocence or guilt.
Therefore, do we allow this to occur, or is it something we really need?

Free American Exit Plan?
In modern times there really is no way to effectively fight a tyrannical government.
There already is a vast network of police informants who beat up, and worse, any person, or persons who get in the way of a Police State. It was [this bad] in the US before 9-11, and is worse now.
A valid passport and exit plan is better than having a gun. A gun will prevent you from crossing borders to safety. You can't eat a gun, and the weapons the US government would use against populations in the way would be the equivalent to a crowd equipped with rocks against machine guns.

Are State Attorney Generals in charge of domestic spying, for silencing whistleblowers, retaliation, and in railroading citizens to be held as political prisoners inside the US? Listen towards the end of the first video in [this post].
If you are just reading emails online, why not start the video and just listen as you are surfing the web? You may just get educated on how government and the courts really work. Do "they" work for you, or against you?

Too many political activists “bundle” their messages. Everything, and the kitchen sink, can be thrown in. There is greater unity in causes when a single, pure issue can be presented, such as preventing further abuse of citizens by a Police State.
I intend on advocating that the FBI be required through legislation to remove J. Edgar Hoover's name from FBI buildings, and that any plaques, statues, and other memorabilia of Hoover's illegal reign of official terrorism not be celebrated with honoring a man of treason and gross official misconduct. The only way to put fear of prosecution, and exposure, out into the consciousness of the current collection of J. Edgar Hoover types, is to send out a clear message. Those who piss on the US Constitution and act as organized crime within government will not be honored, celebrated, and have ships, buildings, and other honors bestowed with their names.
The only way to address the present and future abuse of citizens, is to not celebrate the past abuse of citizens. We the people must demand that all honors bestowed on the tyrant, J. Edgar Hoover, be removed. I intend on asking elected officials to address this issue.
The FBI and other US law enforcement, domestic and foreign, should not be involved in plots to poison, confine, and kill those who speak out for freedom or attempt to distribute messages against the American ruling elite's wishes.
We must end the reign of world warring banking prison industrial complex.
With a census of slightly over 300 million in a world of almost seven billion people, the U.S. accounts for over 40 percent of officially acknowledged worldwide government military spending with a population that is only 4 percent of that of the earth's. A 10-1 disparity.
In addition to its 1,445,000 active duty service members, the Pentagon can and does call upon 1.2 million National Guard and other reserve components. As many as 30% of troops that have served in Afghanistan and Iraq are mobilized reservists. The Army National Guard has activated over 400,000 soldiers since the war in Afghanistan began and in March of 2009 approximately 125,000 National Guard and other reserve personnel were on active duty.
The Defense Department also has over 800,000 civilian employees at home and deployed worldwide. The Pentagon, then, has more than 3.5 million people at its immediate disposal excluding private military contractors.
After allotting over a trillion dollars for the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq alone and packing off more than two million of its citizens to the two nations, the U.S. military establishment and peace prize president have already laid the groundwork for yet more wars. Boeing, Raytheon and General Electric won't be kept waiting.
In his Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech on December 10, the president of the United States appropriated for his country the title of "the world's sole military superpower" and for himself "the Commander-in-Chief of the military of a nation in the midst of two wars."
This may well have been the first time that an American - and, of course, any - head of state in history boasted of his nation being the only uncontested military power on the planet and unquestionably the only time a Nobel Peace Prize recipient identified himself as presiding over not only a war but two wars simultaneously.
As to the appropriateness of laying such claims in the venue and on the occasion he did - accepting the world's preeminent peace award before the Norwegian Nobel Committee - Barack Obama at least had the excuse of being perfectly accurate in his contentions.
He is in fact the commander-in-chief in charge of two major and several smaller wars and his nation is without doubt the first global military power which for decades has operated without constraints on five of six inhabited continents and has troops stationed in all six. United States armed forces personnel and weapons, including nuclear arms, are stationed at as many as 820 installations in scores of nations.
The U.S. has recently assigned thousands of troops to seven new bases in Bulgaria and Romania , deployed the first foreign troops to Israel in that nation's history to run an interceptor missile radar facility in the Negev Desert , and last week signed a status of forces agreement with Poland for Patriot missiles (to be followed by previously ship-based Aegis Standard Missile-3s interceptors) and U.S. soldiers to be stationed there. The troops will be the first foreign forces based in Poland since the dissolution of the Warsaw Pact in 1991.
The U.S., whose current military budget is at Cold War, which is to say at the highest of post-World War II, levels, also officially accounts for over 41% of international military spending according to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute's report on 2008 figures: $607 billion of $1.464 trillion worldwide. On October 28 President Obama signed the 2010 National Defense Authorization Act with a price tag of $680 billion, including $130 billion for the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.
That figure excludes military spending outside of the Department of Defense. The American government has for several decades been the standard-bearer in outsourcing to private sector contractors in every realm and the Pentagon is certainly no exception to the practice. According to some estimates, American military and military-related allotments in addition to the formal Pentagon budget can bring annual U.S. defense spending as high as $1.16 trillion, almost half of official expenditures for all of the world's 192 nations, including the U.S., last year.
With a census of slightly over 300 million in a world of almost seven billion people, the U.S. accounts for over 40 percent of officially acknowledged worldwide government military spending with a population that is only 4 percent of that of the earth's. A 10-1 disparity.
The U.S. also has the world's second largest standing army, over 1,445,000 men and women under arms according to estimates of earlier this year, second only to China with 2,255,000. China has a population of over 1.325 billion, more than four times that of America, and does not have a vast army of private contractors supplementing its armed forces. And of course unlike the U.S. it has no troops stationed abroad. India, with a population of 1.140 billion, has active duty troop strength smaller than that of the U.S. at 1,415,000.
The U.S. and Britain are possibly alone in the world in deploying reservists to war zones; this last February the chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Michael Mullen acknowledged that 600,000 reserves have been called up to serve in the area of responsibility of the U.S. Central Command, in charge of the Afghan and Iraqi wars, since 2001.
In the last 48 hours two unprecedented thresholds have been crossed. On the morning of December 19 the U.S. Senate met in a rare Saturday morning session to approve a $636.3 billion military budget for next year. The vote was 88-10, as the earlier vote by the House of Representatives on December 16 was 395-34. In both cases the negative votes were not necessarily an indication of opposition to war spending but part of the labyrinthine American legislative practices of trade-offs, add-ons and deal-making on other, unrelated issues, what in the local vernacular are colorfully described as horse-trading and log-rolling among other choice terms. A no vote in the House or Senate, then, was not automatically a reflection of anti-war or even fiscally conservative sentiments.
I came upon the over 2 year old post yesterday. The first pdf link for proof no longer works. Judging by the comments posted below it, [where I found the post], I figured proof was offered. I emailed the author for another link, or to be sent the information if it has been saved.
There was a real big deal made about the Vietnam War. There were reporters there who were not directly censored by the US government then. We got closer to the real numbers. The US news now, is about what the new movie that is playing, gossip, and 24 hour coverage of Tiger Woods sensationalism type news stories.
I find this quite alarming:
Department of Veterans Affairs Reports 73 Thousand U.S. Gulf War Deaths
By Clive Boustred, September 22, 2007 at 11:22:35
More Gulf War Veterans have died than Vietnam Veterans: The Department of Veterans Affairs, May 2007, Gulf War Veterans Information System reports the following:
Total U.S. Military Gulf War Deaths: 73,846 – Deaths amongst Deployed: 17,847 – Deaths amongst Non-Deployed: 55,999
Total “Undiagnosed Illness” (UDX) claims: 14,874 Total number of disability claims filed: 1,620,906 - Disability Claims amongst Deployed: 407,911 - Disability Claims amongst Non-Deployed: 1,212,995
Percentage of combat troops that filed Disability Claims 36%
NOTE: Soldiers, by nature, typically don’t complain. In other words, the real impact of those who are disabled from the US invasions in Iraq, Afghanistan and other Nations, is not fully reflected in the official Veterans Affairs numbers. When soldiers are sent to murder women and children they tend to never be able to live normal lives there after.
How come the government numbers of 3,777 as of 9/7/7 are so low? The answer is simple, the government does not want the 73,000 dead to be compared to the 55,000 U.S. soldiers killed in Vietnam Iraq = Vietnam. What the government is doing is only counting the soldiers that die in action before they can get them into a helicopter or ambulance. Any soldier who is shot but they get into a helicopter before he dies is not counted.
73,000 dead amongst the U.S. soldiers for this scale operation using weapons of mass destruction is not high - we expect the great majority of U.S. soldiers who took part in the invasion of Iraq to die of uranium poisoning, which can take decades to kill.
From a victors perspective, above any major war in history, The Gulf War has taken the severest toll on soldiers.
More than 1,820 tons of radio active nuclear waste uranium were exploded into Iraq alone in the form of armor piercing rounds and bunker busters, representing the worlds worst man made ecological disaster ever. 64 kg of uranium were used in the Hiroshima bomb. The U.S. Iraq Nuclear Holocaust represents far more than fourteen thousand Hiroshima’s. The nuclear waste the U.S. has exploded into the Middle East will continue killing for billions of years and can wipe out more than a third of life on earth. Gulf War Veterans who have ingested the uranium will continue to die off over a number of years.
So far more than one million people have been slaughtered in the illegal invasion of Iraqi by the U.S. Birth defects are up 600% in Iraq – the same will apply to U.S. Veterans.
Statistics and evidence published by the government and mainstream media in no way reflect the extreme gravity of the situation.
Those working for the government and media must wake up and take responsibility for immediately reversing this U.S. Holocaust. Understanding who is manipulating all of us is critical for all of us.
Road blocks can be set up 50 miles above the Mexican/US border. Occupants of cars are questioned about where they are going, what they are doing, what they have in their cars etc. Those who look like they don't have European ancestry are questioned further for excuses to detain. How willing are Americans to have checkpoints where we the people can be detained, arrested, have our property confiscated, and can be jailed for just questioning police state rudeness and abuse?
Border patrol sued, accused of profiling, harassment
A class-action lawsuit filed Thursday in U.S. District Court in Toledo alleges U.S. Border Control agents at the Sandusky station and police officers in Norwalk, Plymouth and Attica engaged in discriminatory and illegal racial profiling.
Without reasonable suspicion or probable cause, the suit contends, police officers and border patrol agents restrained, interrogated and arrested people solely because they looked Hispanic.
"In none of those local cases were the people ever ticketed or arrested for anything," said lead counsel Mark Heller

There are those who have us teetering constantly between fear and anger. Listen to Rush Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Alex Jones, and others, and no matter what side they're on, they are out to inform and keep you in a constant state of fear and anger. Unknowingly, and knowingly, they foster the fear and anger that fuels the system. One with fear, then anger, and then both, you're buzzing without control and ability to use reason to figure your own personal path. You have to be able to control your own personal destiny before you can do any greater good.
If you think of government as a bunch of shadow figures bent on enriching themselves, while enslaving all they can, you would have the basic concept of government. Government is a necessary evil, it just needs to be kept in check. The elite in government, throughout history, have no problem killing all they can, if it suits their purpose. Government treats citizens like commodities to be farmed and used at their will. If allowed to, they will subjugate until they destroy themselves.
If you refuse to be a tool and have your own mind, you can move mountains. Face the enemy as an equal. Feed on their fear while keeping your freedom and your life. -Steven G. Erickson
Last week, in the name of protecting the little guy from Wall Street, the House passed HR 4173 to increase the little guy’s false sense of security in the financial system. This mammoth piece of legislation would massively increase government regulation and oversight in the banking industry under the misguided reasoning that more government could have stopped faulty lending practices, when in actuality it caused them. This bill would also greatly increase the powers of the Federal Reserve, which too many in Congress still see as savior rather than perpetrator in this mess.
One silver lining is that the amendment to audit the Fed is still attached to the bill, and if it survives the Senate, the Fed will no longer operate in secrecy. If any version of HR 4173 becomes law, the Fed will be intervening and bailing out more rather than less, as it will gain enormous new powers in addition to those it already has. Whatever happens, the Fed and its defenders have seen that people are becoming very wary of its methods of operation, and many are downright angry at its very existence. Never again will the Fed be immune from the scrutiny of its critics. This is very positive.
Because of legal tender laws that force acceptance of the dollar, the Fed has absolute power over the currency. This absolute power is leading to the absolute corruption of our currency. The money supply has doubled in the last year or so, which is extremely dangerous. The banks seem to be hoarding liquidity now but once these dollars make their way into the economy, hyperinflation and economic chaos will be a real possibility.
Every time hyperinflation rips through an economy, the middle class gets completely wiped out. It is very alarming to watch the purchasing power of an entire life savings reduced to that of a few pennies. Those savings represent years of real labor, real time, effort and sacrifice exchanged for corruptible pieces of paper that politicians and bankers can destroy at whim.
Legal tender laws force the people to become subject to this risk for the benefit of the rulers. Artificial demand for currency allows the authorities to create arbitrary amounts of it to pay for wasteful projects, like frivolous wars and an ever-expanding public sector. This saps the private economy of jobs and purchasing power, yet the temptation proves too great for politicians, time and time again. Our government is no different. Although our dollar has taken nearly a century to lose 98% of its purchasing power, the fact that we are all obliged to participate in this slow burn of the economy on pain of imprisonment is anathema to the principles of liberty.
I introduced the Free Competition in Currency Act last week to free the people from these governmental threats. HR 4248 would repeal legal tender laws, prohibit taxation on certain coins and bullion, and repeal certain laws related to coinage. The prospect of people turning away from the dollar towards alternate currencies should provide incentive for Congress to regain control of the dollar and halt its downward spiral. Restoring soundness to the dollar will remove the government’s ability and incentive to inflate the currency and keep us from launching unconstitutional wars that burden our economy to excess. With a sound currency, everyone is better off, not just those who control the monetary system.

Ellsberg is famous for the Pentagon Papers. Mr. Ellsberg calls Obama a conman and talks about the excuse we have for a justice system. Daniel Ellsberg is a patriot, period.
Excerpt from Wikipedia: "Later, Ellsberg said the documents "demonstrated unconstitutional behavior by a succession of presidents, the violation of their oath and the violation of the oath of every one of their subordinates". He added that he leaked the papers to end what he perceived to be "a wrongful war".
Ellsberg, who changed the course of history by courageously releasing the Pentagon Papers, talks about Obama's deception, the positives involved in his 70+ arrests for civil disobedience, Iran, Afghanistan and more. One listener said there were four different articles in it.
Global Strike Force: The Real Story Behind, Blackwater, JSOC and the CIA's Private Army of Elite Assassins By Jason Charles (about the author)
By Hawk | TruthAlliance.net | Dec. 12, 2009
The Dark Prince
This month Eric Prince has resigned from the scandal ridden Xe inc. formerly know as Blackwater, revealing a decade long relationship as a deep cover CIA operative specifically tasked with building and mobilizing an elite army of private assassins for the CIA.
For the past six years, Prince "appears to have led an astonishing double life," writes Adam Ciralsky. "Publicly, he has served as Blackwater's CEO and chairman. Privately, and secretly, he has been doing the CIA's bidding, helping to craft, fund, and execute operations ranging from inserting personnel into 'denied areas' places US intelligence has trouble penetrating to assembling hit teams targeting Al-Qaeda members and their allies."
As barbarically unnecessary and costly as Blackwater is, the media has tried to dismiss a lot of these reports as just another one of Dick Cheney's Frankenstein monster hold overs from the Bush administration that is slowly being dismantled. Unfortunately, Obama has also been utilizing the ever-eager Blackwater special operatives for the Pakistani drone program that has been an absolute PR disaster due to the civilian casualties that stain headlines on a weekly basis.
With these startling revelations, it is little wonder the U.S. government can't seem to stop using, or separate itself from an obviously mismanaged and brutal element of their supposed war on terror. This death squad role and relationship can be traced back to Israel and the training they gave these special forces in the lead up to the major ground assaults in Afghanistan and Iraq.
The Pakistani drone program Jeremy Scahill writes in the nation is really a top-secret Joint Strategic Operation Command (JSOC) program.
The previously unreported program, the military intelligence source said, is distinct from the CIA assassination program that the agency's director, Leon Panetta, announced he had canceled in June 2009. "This is a parallel operation to the CIA," said the source. "They are two separate beasts." The program puts Blackwater at the epicenter of a US military operation within the borders of a nation against which the United States has not declared war--knowledge that could further strain the already tense relations between the United States and Pakistan. In 2006, the United States and Pakistan struck a deal that authorized JSOC to enter Pakistan to hunt Osama bin Laden with the understanding that Pakistan would deny it had given permission. Officially, the United States is not supposed to have any active military operations in the country.
Allowing the CIA, the masters of overthrowing Governments and staging coups to have it's own private army, stationed in training facilities on American soil has got to be the greatest threat to liberty America has seen in recent years.
"Two senior military officers from the shadowy world of Special Operations are playing a large and previously unreported role in shaping the Obama administration's Afghanistan and Pakistan strategy, a move that underscores that the internal debate has moved past a rigid choice between expansive missions to provide security for Afghan civilians and narrowly tailored missions to find and kill terrorists."
The Big Picture
So besides protecting the Opium and Oil fields, what is the strategic objective of funding a Blackwater staffed JSOC organized, covert operations against middle eastern targets of the United States? Especially when Al-Qaeda is nothing more than an admitted specter.
The answer is given to us through the suspiciously precognitive writing of former Sen. Gary Hart who writes in a Huffington post article this past Nov. 11, 2009
"Among the early lessons of Afghanistan and Iraq, however, is that 21st century conflict demands Special Forces and small unit capabilities even more than traditional big divisions, large carrier task groups, and long range strategic bombers. Historic nation-state wars, though always plausible, are declining. Irregular, unconventional warfare involving dispersed terrorist cells, stateless nations, insurgencies, and tribes, clans, and gangs are increasing dramatically."
He then asks,
"...are our present and planned force structures configured for new military threats; are weapons procurement programs continuation of traditional acquisitions or focused on future requirements; is the intelligence community properly coordinated and focused on emerging realities; for non-military concerns--such as failed states, radical fundamentalism, pandemics, climate degradation, energy dependence, and resource competition--are new international coalitions needed; are existing alliances adequate to anticipate and respond to these crises or are new ones required; most of all, does our government require new legislative authority to achieve national security under dramatically changing conditions?"
We see here that Hart, who also wrote a book on the subject called Under the Eagles Wings: A National Security Strategy of the United States for 2009, has easily just expanded the use and role of these rogue assassination units from foreign operations against terrorists, to operations against what he terms as "non-military threats" or "stateless nations" inside the United States and abroad.
He goes further in his book stating,
"We will be required to conduct multinational training exercises between our special forces and those of other nations. We must operate jointly and collectively against Jihadi and other terrorist groups that endanger the security of all. We will find it necessary to integrate communications systems and databases among law enforcement and public safety agencies of liberal democratic nations. Pg. 17"
Isn't this exactly what we are seeing with the reported CIA/Blackwater operations in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan? They're not over their just fighting Al-Qaeda, but using the war on terror as a front operation to train multinational privatized commandos and integrating the fighting forces of the developed nations? We have Delta Force, Rangers, CIA, Green Beret, S.E.A.L's, IDF, Mossad, Mi5, SAS, Marines etc. etc., all being utilized and training as rapid deployment forces and occupation forces to better serve as a cohesive militarily force in a increasingly globalized world.
In the Homeland
It would be one thing if it was only Al-Qaeda and militants on foreign shores they were after, but in a incredibly revealing article from the New York Times we see that they were operational in the United States during the 2005 Bush inauguration in direct violation of Posse Comitatus Act of 1878 as stated in the article.
"These commandos, operating under a secret counter-terrorism program code-named Power Geyser, were mentioned publicly for the first time this week on a Web site for a new book, "Code Names: Deciphering U.S. Military Plans, Programs and Operation in the 9/11 World," (Steerforth Press). The book was written by William M. Arkin, a former intelligence analyst for the Army.
The precise number of these Special Operations forces in Washington this week is highly classified, but military officials say the number is very small. The special-missions units belong to the Joint Special Operations Command, a secretive command based at Fort Bragg, N.C., whose elements include the Army unit Delta Force."
The Blackwater story is the actualized realization of Gary Hart's book, and it all happened in 2009 just like the title suggested.
So if Al-Qaeda is Gone, Who is the New Enemy?
The answer to that question is simply you, by expanding the definition of terrorist over the last decade DHS has increasingly been issuing report after report that middle America is potentially terrorists. According to the MIAC report, property rights activist, tax evaders, gun owners, home schoolers, Christians, and people angry about the economy are all potential terrorists.
You can be sure that things will not stay the same, an economic collapse that could degrade into a full blown civil war is currently being planned for by the Obama administration as reported by the EU Times, and expanded upon by Chuck Baldwin in his latest column.
The simple fact is while America has been sleeping, the groundwork to totally and finally break the American people into accepting global government as a solution to war, climate change, food, pandemics, and natural disasters is in place.
Think about how many drills you have heard about in the past months of American soldiers training with foreign forces, and with the overly hyped swine flu being declared a level six pandemic recently we have the perfect cover to train and deploy multinational peace keeping forces all over America and the World, as shown in the NLE 2009 massive training drills conducted over the summer.
Those who choose to fight against it in an armed resistance, whether a nation state or an individual will be targeted by multinational private mercenary squads who have cut their teeth in the lawless deserts of Iraq, Pakistan and Afghanistan and will have the full backing of both the military and intelligence apparatus of these United States when it comes to tracking down and killing those it deems enemies of the state.
They want a Global Government and the United States middle class won't stand for it unless major panic ensues. The security state is ready to take the velvet gloves off in everything from...
Now if you want a real ugly glance at just how bad things have gotten with the use of mercs, look into Hardin, Montana and how a foreigner and felon with 17 aliases bought out the city, took over the jail and staffed it with foreign mercenaries.
With the planned collapse of our Economy by the Fed, the war on the Mexican border that is quickly spilling over into American cities nationwide, and the increasing militarized security grid that has invaded every aspect of American life we are faced with a choice as red blooded Americans as we come to the end of 2009. We either stand up and fight for the values of our constitutional republic by outing every criminal in government and reclaiming or nations capital and military, or we allow them to be integrated into the New World Order system that will violently suppress all opposition via Blackwater type hit teams.
Your call America will you heed the warning signs all around you or will you drown out your conscience with football, and Friday night movies? As a final thought we have the newly announced Air force's Global Strike Brigade being assembled for rapid deployment of nuclear munitions anywhere in the world the architects of this global society are ruthless killers and deadly serious and will utilize any means necessary to assure success. Those of us who are awake are desperately praying the public can wake up in time, because this reality is being forced on us like it or not.
In response to President Barack Obama's announcement on December 1 to deploy 30,000 additional troops to the occupation of Afghanistan, the organization March Forward!, comprising both veterans and active-duty members of the US military, has called on all soldiers to refuse their orders to deploy.
"March Forward! calls on all service members to refuse orders to deploy to Afghanistan and Iraq," reads a press release from the group from December 3. "We offer our unconditional support and solidarity. Join us in the fight to ensure that no more soldiers or civilians lose their lives in these criminal wars."
Michael Prysner, a former corporal in the Army who served from 2001-2005 and a veteran of the occupation of Iraq, co-founded the group with another Iraq war veteran, James Circello.
Truthout asked Prysner how he responds to those who believe a soldier should always follow orders, no matter what.
"In my experience the majority of people joining the military today join out of necessity, like money, jobs, help for their family, etc., so most don't join for ideological or patriotic reasons. Most are driven into the military by economic conditions. We see this playing out now, as people are joining in droves because of the economy."
Prysner added, "Yes, people do sign a contract to follow orders, but those orders are wrong and unlawful. We want to educate people to the fact that these are immoral orders, and they [soldiers] are being used as muscle for corporations, to colonize the developing world, and it's not legitimate. People who join and take this oath seriously who think they are in [the military] to defend the US, this is not what we are being used for in the military today."
Prysner has written about his experience in Iraq, "... there was no computer screen separating me from the suffering civilian population. I spent 12 months in Iraq, doing everything from prisoner interrogations, to ground surveillance missions, to home raids. It was my firsthand experiences in Iraq that radicalized me. I believed I was going to Iraq to help liberate and better the lives of an oppressed people, but I soon realized that my purpose in Iraq was to be the oppressor, and to clear the way for US corporations with no regard for human life."
After he separated from the Army in 2005, Prysner "understood that the occupation I was a part of was a crime against humanity. I understood that illegal conquering of Iraq was for profit, carried out by a system that serves a tiny class of super-rich whose endless drive for wealth is at the expense of working people in the United States and abroad."
According to Prysner, the lessons he learned from being part of the US occupation of Iraq taught him that, "I still had the same drive to fight for freedom, justice and equality as I did when I joined, and I understood that fighting for those things meant fighting against the US government, not on behalf of it."
To those who call him and his organization "anti-American" and/or "unpatriotic," Prysner has this to say:
"I would say that I have more in common with my sisters and brothers in Iraq and Afghanistan than I do with these people in DC who've sent us to war. If that's unpatriotic, then yes, I am. But patriotism and racism are the only things the military has to fall back on to convince people to do the things we are being asked to do today."
March Forward! was founded in 2008, and the aim of the organization is "to unite all those who have served and who currently serve in the US military, and who want to stand up for our rights and for that which is right."
"We are new and growing," Prysner explained. "We have seen somewhat consistent growth, and we're expecting this to accelerate now."
The group's statement from December 3 adds, "On December 1, we got a clear order from President Obama. For many more years, we will be sent to kill, to die, to be maimed and wounded, in a war where 'victory' is impossible, against a people who are not our enemies. For over eight years, we have come home in coffins, in wheelchairs, with our skin burned and with our days and nights haunted by the trauma of war. We return home to a VA whose services are so inadequate that active duty soldiers who succumb to suicide outnumber those killed in combat."
ames Circello is a former Army sergeant and veteran of the US occupation of Iraq. Circello, who joined the military in 2001, describes his experience in Iraq as follows:
"During the occupation of Iraq, the truth about what the United States government has done to the country of Iraq became more apparent. Open wastewater flowed through neighborhood streets where children played soccer. Families were thrown out of their homes with simple accusations from others. Vehicles were taken on sight by the military if individuals couldn't provide proper documents claiming they own the vehicle. These events and others helped in strengthening my opposition to the so-called 'War on Terror.'"
In April 2007, Circello left his base in Vicenza, Italy, and went absent without leave (AWOL) in protest of US policy in the Middle East. In November 2007, he turned himself in to the military at Fort Knox and was discharged within three days.
Circello's decision to go AWOL was his way of refusing to deploy to Afghanistan.
I had been fighting myself internally after my time in Iraq, about whether to deploy again," he explained to Truthout, "I ended up back in my old unit that was preparing to deploy, so at that moment I took it into my hands, and decided I wasn't going to go kill Afghans that had done nothing to me, or the American people. It was a defining moment for me."
According to Pentagon figures, since October 2001, more than 50,000 soldiers from all branches of the military have gone AWOL.
John Raughter is the communications director for the American Legion, an organization that describes itself as "a patriotic, war-time veterans organization, devoted to mutual helpfulness," according to its web site.
Raughter is clear about his stance on the rights of soldiers. "We have an all-volunteer force," he explained to Truthout, "These are not draftees. They swore an oath to obey the orders of the Commander in Chief."
According to Raughter, the American Legion does not, in any way, support AWOL soldiers or those who refuse to deploy to Iraq or Afghanistan. "Within reason, the military should be able to enforce obedience. Obedience and order are critical for the military to do its mission. People can't pick and choose which orders to obey and which not to [obey]. If it's a lawful order, they are obliged to obey."
Yet the oath enlisted soldiers must take before being deployed, reads:
"I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God."
Marjorie Cohn, president of the National Lawyers Guild, is the co-author of "Rules of Disengagement: The Politics and Honor of Military Dissent" with Kathleen Gilberd. In the book, they write, "Rules of Engagement limit forms of combat, levels of force, and legitimate enemy targets, defining what is legal in warfare and what is not. (They're also) defined by an established body of international (and US) law that leaves no ambiguity."
Cohn and Gilberd argue that every US war since WWII has been illegal. Article 51 of the UN Charter only permits the "right of individual or collective self-defense if an armed attack occurs against a Member ... until the Security Council has taken measures to maintain international peace and security."
In addition, Article I, Section 8, Clause 11 (the war powers clause) of the US Constitution authorizes only both houses of Congress, not the president, to declare war. Nonetheless, that process has been followed only five times in our history and last used on December 8, 1941, after Japan attacked Pearl Harbor.
Nevertheless, Raughter believes soldiers who are dissenting against the occupations should have never joined the ranks. "If they are ethically opposed to wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, I would say that most of these people have enlisted or reenlisted since the beginning of the war. These wars were occurring when they made this oath of enlistment. It should have come to their minds."
Circello's response to those who refer to their tactic of encouraging soldiers to refuse deployment orders as being "unpatriotic or un-American?
'This is a tactic of demonization and we reject it," he explained, "The corporations profiting in these wars don't care about America or the American people. Is providing mercenaries to kill innocent people overseas, and bombs to kill innocent people, is that American and patriotic? The people who use these terms are demagogues. We can't forget that America was a land of institutionalized slavery, slavery was American, and folks like Dr. Martin Luther King, when they stood up to racism were called un-American ... so the same thing happens today. When you protest war, or call on soldiers to desert based on their own interest, you are called un-American."
Prysner and Circello's organization has stated, "March Forward! supports the right of all service members to refuse illegal and immoral orders. Orders to deploy to Afghanistan and Iraq are just that: illegal and immoral. We have no reason to fight in these wars, and we have every right to refuse to be a part of them."

The Steven G. Erickson response posted on OpEdNews.com:
If there is a collected, organized, and motivated group of individuals who want to take back the American government from the shadow forces of the war corporations, banksters, drug lords, and other organized criminals, they may have to meet outside the US to figure out the best way to get the word out to the most people.
Let's assume that the traditional radio, cable television, and internet can be shut off and/or completely controlled by the spooks pulling the puppet strings of US leaders. There would have to be another way to inform. We the people may have to resort to Ham radio and printing up home grown newspapers, fliers, and hand them out, person to person, having American Patriot advocates outside the US.
If US Troops swear an oath to support and defend the US Constitution, what if the likes of George H. W. Bush, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama are mere puppets poised to disassemble, and make null and void, the US Constitution? Shouldn't the US Troops then do what is necessary to restore the US Constitution serving with civilians interested in restoring America to what our forefathers intended?
Supporting organized criminals with money (taxes) and in being part of organized crime committing illegal acts is illegal isn't it? Should our US Troops be the tools of organized crime and drug lords?
I bought into the BS of the "American Dream" pre 9-11. I got in the way of prostitution, heroin and crack cocaine distribution, and stood to try and fix the public corruption and the organized racketeers of crime that is the Connecticut State Police and courts. The campaign manager for the Green Party candidate for Connecticut Governor was put on the Connecticut State Police Secret Enemies List and arrested on sight to face years, if not decades in prison, based on typical Connecticut State Police filing of false reports, the suppressing and manufacturing of evidence, perjury, and acting as a goon squad employing drug dealers, prostitutes, vandals, and other vermin as a gang called "Confidential State Registered Police Informants".
The system of goon squads is nationwide. To truly be "free" and "American" at the same time and to feel free exercising "Free Speech", We the People might just have to do this outside the borders of America in some safe place. I would like to be part of any outside the US, "Real News Network", or in helping advise, helping to get work, and helping to get lodging those who are Patriotic Americans unwilling to be slaves and used by organized criminals to finance their evil deeds, beatings, bombings, rape, murder and the wholesale rip off of the world. I would like to be part of any organized, US Constitution supporting Patriotic Ex-Patriot American movement.
