My Small Claims Court Case Today
Mark Lanoue, owner of Mark's Motors Inc in Brattleboro, Vermont fired me, this time last year. I took exception to being ripped off and his prancing around the office in flip-flops chanting, "I want to feel you in me." Mark has a thing for grabbing male employee buttocks and genitals if he can get away with it. [click here] for more of that story with video. An excerpt found below this blurb. Mark Lanoue agree to arbitration at the Newfane, Vermont, Courthouse. His final offer was $200. I had asked for the max, $5000 plus filing and serving costs. Mark threatened me in the hallway saying, "You should be very scared". He only committed perjury 3 or more times, I was surprised.
Mark Lanoue hired a lawyer, brought witnesses who are dependent on him for pay, and had access to documents, and I had very little. It really could go either way. A landlord/tenant dispute went on and on. There really should be a local, people's grand jury to hear such cases as they would seem more fair, and could be cut short if someone is going off on tangents wasting time.

Bi-polar meltdown?

how did mark commit perjury 3 or more times in court
Mark Lanoue, under oath, claims I went to the labor board for arbitration. I either did, or didn't. I sued small claims and thought it a waste of time to go through the labor board. That one item, is prejudicial. If believed by the judge, or taken into account, in one statement, Mark Lanoue was claiming I was not owed any back pay because it had already been reviewed. A total lie, and there would be a paper trail for that one.
Mark Lanoue claimed I hauled cord wood in the pick up truck I bought from him. I never did. I used it as a car, and had it parked as it had a cracked frame.
The claim that I had lied about my daughter's college, was a lie made up by Lanoue.
Mark Lanoue claiming that I had stolen a sale from him was also a lie, perjury. Mark Bowen was considering trading his Harley Davidson motorcycle, a premium model. Mark Lanoue claimed he lost over $5000 on that deal. I guess he was really going to "tuck it to" Mark Bowen. Mark Bowen traded me his wife's Sportster, the most basic Harley Davidson. Mark Lanoue blew Mark Bowen off over a week, so it was perjury on Mark Lanoue's part on what he claimed under oath.
There is more. If the State of Vermont would prosecute Mark Lanoue for perjury there is evidence. It is my opinion that Mark won't be. Mark claims to have political influence with the courts, State Police, and with the government given his "Mafia connections". Well, I'll see when I get the results from the case.

Jobs are hard to come by. So, I took the abuse, until I couldn't take it anymore. No one should have to endure such a hostile work environment.
Mark Lanoue consistently abuses and rips off employees, vendors, and customers. A guy, Dave, a limo driver and his wife were both not given their paychecks because a dually utility truck without an emergency brake that had to stay running while getting fuel rolled forward into another vehicle. The vehicle was sold for its asking price. Mark shorts mechanics and anyone he can all the time.
I was ripped off. Mark sexually harasses and grabs male employees. Mark Lanoue hires thugs to beat others up, possibly even buying murder-for-hire. I get all sorts of emails thanking me for posting what I have. Those who would have bought a car or truck, or who would have gone to Mark for a job.
A leopard such as Mark, can't change his spots. I believe he is a psychopath or sociopath. There is not fixing that mental diagnosis, if he is indeed such.
I was terrorized out of my apartment, and was sold two crappy Lanoue vehicles in "good faith". If Lanoue had any sense, he would just pay employees there last paychecks, in full, and not sell crappy vehicles to at least employees. Mark hiring thugs to come from New York to beat me up or kill me, tells me he is just a sleazy criminal.

Mark's Motors, is, or was a hostile work environment.
Mark would love to see all drivers show up for their checks on Friday and then not get them. It is a weekly joke for him. Drivers who get paid less than Vermont's minimum wage get jerked around and often are shorted. Workers who are barely able to make it week to week, waste gas and time coming to get a check that isn't there as it is supposed to be.
Mark would laugh at the suffering of his car dealership victims. A woman who bought a truck who took out a loan and paid a 2nd time with her credit card was still asking for the refund of overage 2 months later. She was irate about not having use of her money and being charged 2 months interest on her credit card. Mark's business conduct is such that this example isn't an isolated incident.
The poor excuse of a man takes pleasure in the misery and suffering of others. For those who have to depend on such a prick for their daily wage, grow to hate him as a tyrant. He thinks he can mock, abuse, and sexually grope employees. That is just plain wrong. He's just a sexual predator scumbag.
It is illegal to hire thugs to beat someone up or kill them. It is cowardly. Mark is a coward.
min wage in vt is $8hr and what is he paying them
I have a lot to pay attention to lately, so I haven't cared to keep up to date on the Mark Lanoue follies. If memory serves correctly, the Vermont minimum wage is $8.06 and drivers were paid only $8. And that is my memory from being employed by Mark's Motors Inc., at the time that I worked there.
When employees work by the hour, it is my belief that it is illegal to dock employees' hours if they don't break the speed limit and drive like Mark to locations. Drivers are told that it should only take 2 hours to drive to the Lynnway Auction in Mass. If they are caught in traffic, take too long running cars through the car wash, Mark either threatens to dock their pay, or does.
